Richard & Joy Hickman have turned their home at 9 Joubert Street, Montagu, into a fine art gallery, which is open seven days a week from 8am to 6pm, except for emergencies.
Various artists works are on display. Richard works mainly in water colours but his techniques are as diverse as his works. The work is very colourful and easy to live with.
The free movement of brush stroke and line shows the dynamic connection he has with his subject.
This is one stop over that will make your stay in Montagu worth while and is ideal for souvenirs for the traveler. Paintings can be taken without frames, and or, packaged and posted worldwide if necessary.
How to find us
As you come into Montagu from Ashton, turn left into Kerkstraat. Once you reach the Dutch reformed Church, turn right along Badstraat for 50 meters and immediately left into Bloem street. Cross Piet Retief St and take the next right turn into Joubert St.
