Collaborative Art Creations, was born out of the passion of photographer, Laresa Perlman, & artist, Verna du Toit. Together they combine over 100 years of artistic expression, creating unique conceptual art pieces. What comes to the surface, and eventually finds its way into an art form, is a journey representing their lives.
It contains, elements of shadow & light, masculine & feminine, heartbreak & triumph. It is with this drive & passion, through the process of embracing contrast & deliberate creation, that they wish to inspire others through their art. They believe Collaboration is the way of the future.
Their first piece has already been on exhibition in JHB at Gallery 2

Artists Statement Breakthrough:
In breakthrough, one sees the element of the heart. Learning to live from the heart, enables humanity to evolve. Even though it gets broken, it heals & transcends circumstance, enabling flexibility & growth
The Hybrid, combination of animal and human, is the pathway to our natural animal instinct. Animals are egoless & in touch with the natural rhythm of life, whether good or bad, it’s always accepted.
The Dragonfly symbolizes change, transformation, adaptability, and self-realization. It appears to be able to change direction swiftly, gliding through the air with no apparent effort. A symbol of metamorphosis & transformation, it inspires the changes needed to reach one’s full potential.
They are based on their beautiful farm, Eden, on the foot of the Langeberg mountains outside Montagu on the R62.
