Take a good look at the Montagu sign on the mountain. It got a much-needed coat of paint on Thursday morning, 13 December, sponsored by Kaap-Agri and done by the friends and family of Peter Gordon from Scotland, in loving memory of him and his dedication for a little town he loved.
Friends and family of Peter Gordon took an early walk up the mountain and worked hard to paint and re-arrange the popular sign – a regular activity for Peter whenever he visited Montagu. What a lovely memory and the perfect way to honour a great man with a love for walking and a special place in his heart for Montagu.
