The roughly 400 people that entered the KWV grounds were clearly eager to support and discover new local business.
This year's mini Indaba showcased 42 stallholders and 10 new businesses - a distinct improvement over last year.
All agree that this event should remain on the calendar and is something to look forward to each year.
What makes this indaba so special, is how people are left with a feeling of "I had no idea these businesses are right here on our doorstep!", not to mention the levels of support and encouragement that businesses give each other. A visiting Councillor from the Cape Winelands District Municipality, Kobus du Plessis, said he was impressed with how Montagu always stands together in promoting local business.
Well done to the Montagu-Ashton Tourism Association for this initiative and for an extremely well organised event!
