Expect slowly made and slowly enjoyed offerings at this year’s event.

Event details
Celebrate the unique food and wine offerings of the Robertson valley and rediscover the romance and magic of wintertime in the country. Warm up in front of the fireplace with red wines and indulge your taste buds with hearty country cuisine using local produce. Enjoy diverse food traditions from vetkoek, curries and waterblommetjie soup to seafood paella, Chinese duck and ostrich and kudu inspired dishes. From fine dining and gourmet offerings to farm style platters and picnics.
Experience interactive and authentic wine activities in intimate settings. Explore wine farms with underground cellar tours, game drives, horse rides and boat cruises. Taste the lifestyle with an array of local produce and award winning wines by joining cooking classes and intimate winemaker’s dinners. This year's festival also offers a wide variety of tasting opportunities from single vineyard and vertical tastings, to brandy pairings, tutored Méthode Cap Classique master classes and food and wine pairings. Festival goers will be able to interact with winemakers and wine farmers in an informal setting, experience the intricate winemaking process and discover the story behind the bottle. Traditional dishes will be paired with award winning vintages, and the family market taking place on Sunday is the perfect spot to meet local chefs and winemakers.
Browse, shop, taste and enjoy great offerings at the popular family regional market which takes place from 10h00-14h00 on Sunday, 6 August. Local wine, produce, arts, food, music and children’s activities will be on offer.
