Ry Hom Kwagga is a new one day mountain bike challenge set in the Agterveld region, Montagu, Touwsriver area. This is the Klein Karoo at it’s best, vast expanses, clean air, the sound and smells of the veld, stars so close you can almost touch it. Look further and expand your horizons, this allows you to breathe and dream again.
Over the last 20 years this area has gone from sheep farming to guest farms and the game has moved into our area by themselves: gemsbuck, eland, kudu, wildebeest and of course the Quagga/Kwagga has been here, also many of smaller game species.
This two day event has two distances to choose from, your longer distance will include some technical terrain while the shorter distances are just great riding, jeep track that is in good condition
