Join us for a day of learning about the core aspects of propagating plants - with a specific focus on edible plants.
Through a combination of practical examples and theory-based discussion, we will cover the full spectrum of propagation techniques and strategies. Leaving you with an improved confidence and ability in the art of starting plants.
Focus areas will include:
Nursery design
Appropriate potting mixes
Containers and pots
Record keeping and starting dates
Seed propagation
Taking cuttings and rooting hormones
Root divisions
Air and ground layering
Seed saving, storing and sharing
R600, all materials and a vegetarian lunch included. If you would like to stay at the end of the workshop for a drink you are most welcome, please BYOB.
