An exhibition of digitally transformed photographs by Johan Kotze at the MMACC Gallery in the KWV Building, Long Street until the 29th September.
Johan Kotze is from Stellenbosch and has frequently exhibited his work at the Oude Libertas Gallery, the PJ Olivier Gallery and the TANK Gallery in his home town.
He uses his computer to alter/enhance/refine/transform(?) his own photographs of far-ranging subjects - of the palm trees in his garden, people of Stellenbosch, the canola fields in the Overberg, the rocks of Petra, the streets in Jerusalem, Uluru in Australia, Kalk Bay harbour…
Some of the works on exhibition will be framed and some mounted on ceramic tiles.
All are welcome to the opening at 17.30 on Friday September 7th - with drinks and snacks. The exhibition will run to the end of September
On the 1st of every month, we send out our "Events Mailer", highlighting all the events taking place in and around Montagu for that month. Be sure to subscribe not to miss out on important events.
