You are probably all aware of the Rose and Garden Show taking place at the KWV next week. Our contribution, as Montagu Film Society, will be to screen Monty Don's Adriatic Gardens on Friday 21 October at the Odeon. Due to the possibility of load-shedding during the evening the screening will take place during the afternoon. The show, consisting of three episodes of one hour each, will commence at 1330 and should end at approximately 1700, depending on the length of the intervals between episodes.
Monty explores the influence of the Venetians on gardening, starting in their home city at the top of the Adriatic coast and travelling on through Croatia and Greece, visiting a range of public and private gardens.
Tickets will be available at the KWV from Monday 17 October at a cost of R50 per seat.
