Montagu Trail Festival

Montagu Trail Festival is a brand new trail running event in the heart of Montagu, designed for the whole family. It's a jam-packed weekend of trail-based activities with something for everyone.

Based at De Bos, a range of trail distances and other fun activities are on offer.

Friday, 9th August, 5pm: Fun 5km “tag the Tuk-Tuk” warm-up night run (Montagu Central)
Saturday, 10th August, 8am: 9km, 16km, 30km trail (Kanonkop/Badskloof)
Sunday, 11th August, 8am: 5km, 7km, 14km trail and a 2.5km group fun run for the kids (Montagu Trails in Montagu South)

Additional activities:
- Child minding at De Bos while you run
- Arrange rock climbing with Dave Webster
- Scavenger hunt at De Bos with prizes for all the children who enter.
- Discounted day pass for Avalon Springs

Day 1 || Friday 9th August
- Registration 12noon - 4:30pm @ De Bos
- Tag the Tuk-Tuk 5km Fun Run starts 5pm
- Montagu Meander 6pm onwards (self-paced)

Day 2 || Saturday 10th August
- Race registration @ De Bos (6:30am - 7:30am)
- Childminding service @De Bos Check in 6:30am - 7am (only)
- Montagu Bruise 30km trail run starts 7am
- Montagu Cruise 16km trail run starts 7:30am
- Montagu Breeze 9km trail run starts 8am
- Results and prize-giving @ De Bos starts 1:30pm
- Scavenger Hunt @ De Bos 2pm - 3pm

Day 3 || Sunday 11th August
- Race registration @Montagu Bowling Club (6:30am - 7:30am)
- Childminding service @De Bos Check in 6:00am - 7am (only)
- Montagu Bruise 14km trail run starts 7am @Montagu Bowling Club
- Montagu Cruise 7km trail run starts 7:30am @Montagu Bowling Club
- Montagu Breeze 5km trail run starts 8am @Montagu Bowling Club
- Kiddies 2.5km fun run starts 8:30am @Montagu Bowling Club
