Rock Climb, Party, Eat, Be Outdoors !
The yearly gathering of rock climbers is once again going to ROCK the usually tranquil town of Montagu!
Whether you're the seasoned climber with hands of leather, the top gun, or the beginner who doesn't know which way to put on a harness, the Montagu Rock Rally weekend is about climbing! The rally supports the climbing community with proceeds going to the Anchor Replacement Fund and sponsoring climbers who wouldn't otherwise get the oppurtunity to share the experiance of Montagu.
As always there will be great prizes - eg for the best dressed team. So come along, bring your family, your friends for a fun day of climbing followed by a prize giving, banquet dinner and party.
Climbers will all arrive in Montagu on Friday afternoon (13th of April) or early Saturday morning (14th of April). The Rock Rally competition officially starts 8.30am on Saturday and goes till about 7pm or just after dark.
Monster Munch will have their food truck at De Bos on Saturday morning from 6am. They will have breakfast rolls & toasties for sale.
The Prizegiving & After Party will start around 7.30pm with a cash bar opening up and banquet dinner being served by local Montagu food legends later in the evening. The evening hosts a prize giving with tons of give away prizes and music taking us into the night.
