Montagu Museum Kruiefees / Herb Festival 2023
Van 22 tot 25 September 2023 dek die Montagu-museum weer die tafel vir die land se derde Kruiefees.
Ons is bekend vir ons medisinale kruietuin en het die afgelope 40 jaar die geskiedenis van medisinale kruie, boererate en Khoi en San se gebruike van kruie opgeteken en nagevors.
Gedurende hierdie erfenisnaweek sal daar praatjies, werkswinkels en uitstappies wees met klem op medisinale kruie, sampioene en tradisionele genesing.

You are invited to the third Montagu Museum Herb Festival – celebrating our rich heritage of healing with herbs.
It is a heritage weekend with walks, talks, workshops and culinary arts with special emphasis on medicinal herbs, mushrooms and traditional healing.

The venues are the Old Mission Church, the Museum Archives, Joubert House, the Montagu Nature Garden, Kogman & Keisie farm, IBIS Gallery, the Secret Garden in Church Street, Kupenda Gallery, Cellar 1848 Cabrières, 22 Church Street Restaurant and Monte Vista Boutique Hotel.
Exhibitors in the Old Mission Church during the festival are Greyton Candles, Cape Fynbos Teas, Fijn Botanicals, Lavender & Rosemary, Folio Books, Earthwise Pet Products, Dagga Farmacy, Grow Folk , Tradouw Botanicals, Shop@Yamu Botanicals, Fynbos, First People Healer, Veld by Anneke and Nadine van Zyl with essential oils, creams and bath salts.
The Museum Herb Shop will have our medicinal teas, creams, smudge sticks, T-shirts and lovely herb fest related gifts.
