With an abundance of lemons in the Langeberg valley this time of year, McGregor Tourism, in conjunction with GREEN GABLES COUNTRY INN will host the first LEMON AND LIMONCELLO FESTIVAL in Langeberg on Saturday 27 July 2024.
For adults who love lemons, they can make their own Limoncello, and for kids, they can demonstrate their craft in making the best Lemonade! A great prize is also up for grabs, with R1500 going toward the best Limoncello and R500 going toward the best Lemonade. Enter by contacting McGregor Tourism and stand a chance to win one of these great prizes.
There will also be great entertainment for the kids throughout the day! In addition to great lawns for kids to play on and parents to relax on, there will be old-fashioned lemon and spoon races, and a lemon eating competition for the brave! Try your luck at guessing how many lemons are in a crate, and you'll win great prizes! There will be more than enough food stalls to satisfy everyone's appetites, as wineries from the area will display their finest wines.
