Karlsruhe Concert Duo Returns

Tickets for this concert on Saturday 19 March 2022 will be available from The Montagu Bookshop from Monday 13 March or at the venue door from 17h00 on the day.

Montagu Music Society invite you to listen to cellist Reinhard Armleder and pianist Dagmar Hartmann who wowed our audience in October last year. They enjoyed their visit to Montagu so much that they have agreed to come back for another concert.

They will perform a program of music by Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, Tchaikovsky and Gershwin, as well as an early sonata by Richard Strauss. This is a concert that you really do not want to miss!

We are no longer able to present concerts of this quality at the usual prices. Even at the new fee of R 150 per person, we barely break even when hosting superb musicians like these.

The concert starts at 17h30 for 18h00. The venue, as always, is the Old Mission Church in Long Street in Montagu. We invite all our loyal patrons to enjoy a glass of sparkling wine or grape juice before the concert starts.

Also please make a note in your diaries that the Zolani Youth Choir will be performing their 10th year Pre-Anniversary Concert at the Old Mission Church on Saturday 2 April 2022 at 12:00 noon. There is no entrance fee but donations are welcome and will go towards funding their choir trip to Cape Town to attend the Choral Celebration Festival Series.
