Learn about defensive sport shooting at the Beginners Handgun Club Match. Members of the club who are not actively participating in SADPA shooting, as well as those interested in learning about the sport, are welcome to attend. The day will include a new shooter orientation to familiarize beginners with the necessary safety precautions and build confidence in shooting.
The match will take place on the range that consist of four basic stages, each focusing on a fundamental shooting technique. The course will be run at a slow pace, with teaching and guidance provided every step of the way.
Participation in this registered shoot with SADPA will count towards building points for a Dedicated Sport Shooting Status or for license renewal.
To ensure individual attention, small groups will be allocated specific ranges. Those interested in attending should register beforehand and arrive well before the match start time.
