Fashion High tea event at Montagu Museum

The First Fashion/High Tea Event Of The Year!
Fleur de Lis, Vic & Vogue and Diva Dressing Room will be showcasing their wares.
The Friends of the Montagu Museum are organising a HIGH TEA and FASHION SHOW on Saturday 25 February in the Old Mission Church in Long Street.
It will be a fun event - with 10 tables filled with delectable cakes and confectionery. Montagu Winery is sponsoring a welcome drink, there will be a musical interlude, and as the cherry on top the Museum has agreed to display some of the beautiful wedding dresses they have in storage. They were made by Mrs Angelique Albertyn, who worked at Brink Broers from 1918. She was a superb seamstress and known all over South Africa for her evening gowns, wedding and bridesmaid dresses.
The proceeds will be used to renovate the back stoep at Joubert House so that the FoMM can once again hold their coffee and milk tart mornings, which used to be so popular!
