Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra

On Sunday, September 14, the renowned Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra will again take the stage at the Oos-Kerk on van Zyl Street in Robertson. Comprising 55 talented professional musicians, this much-loved orchestra will delight all with a captivating selection of popular classical pieces: “Music for all”.

Hosted by Eseltjiesrus Donkey Sanctuary, this event highlights the power of music to bring people together during these challenging times. Join in celebrating the beauty and inspiration conveyed by fine music.

Following the success of the orchestra's previous visit in 2023, a full house is likely, so early securing of tickets is recommended. Starting in June, tickets will be available at the Tourism offices in Montagu, Robertson and McGregor, as well as at the Donkey Sanctuary near McGregor. In Worcester, purchase tickets at Dr Gerhard de Wet’s veterinary rooms located at 51 Durban Street. A further option for ticket purchase is online at adopt@donkeysanctuary.co.za

To ensure everyone has the opportunity to enjoy this remarkable performance, a sponsored ticket scheme will operate. This initiative will provide tickets to orphanages, old age homes,

local bands, choirs and music students. Contributions toward sponsored tickets will be immensely valued and will make a significant difference to many people who would otherwise miss out.
