Annual Toy Run

Saturday, 03 December 2016
The Christmas spirit is slowly penetrating our daily lives, especially when we go out shopping. So the timing is perfect to start preparing, planning and giving towards the Yearly Montagu Toy Run.

This year the Toy Run will take place on the 3rd of December - starting in Barry Street at 10:00. From Barry Street the toy laden Motorcycles will drive through Montagu and drop off toys at various organisations that will in turn distribute among children that normally would not be so privileged to receive Toys at Christmas. The Run ends at the Montagu Hospital which is the last "drop off" point.

Now is a good time to teach your children about giving and a great opportunity for cleaning out the Toy Box and redistribute those unwanted toys that might just be another child's treasure. Toys and donations can be dropped off at Mulligans Irish Pub and Grill as well as the Montagu-Ashton Tourism office. If you need anything collected, please phone Werner on 072 559 5194. The Toy Run is open for everyone with a Motorcycle (no matter how small, smart or dirty:

After The Toy Run a few of the guys would take a trip to Barrydale, if anyone wants to join them - it is an open invitation. Help to put a smile on the face of a child!! Support the Montagu Toy Run any way possible.
