The Jam Factory started life as "Kerkstraat 22 Konfyte" in the early 1980s in the restaurant of Jeanne Biesenbach and Antoinette Esterhuyse as a side line to the normal restaurant business.
The demand for these exceptional products soon became so high that the restaurant was closed and the jam making became the main business. From humble beginnings the business grew to now supplying retailers, deli's, farm shops, hotels, private game reserves, restaurants and corporate clients either under their private labels or the Kerkstraat 22 Konfyte label.
The products are available country wide. The range includes jams, marmalades, preserves, chutneys and relishes. All products are handmade according to traditional recipes with extra fruit and extra care.
