Some of the rock-faces surrounding Montagu are quite spectacular (in some cases even other-wordly!) I have always been inspired and in awe of our surrounding mountains particularly in the area called 'Kalkoennes' in Cogmanskloof Pass. The light - and colours with it - changes every 10 minutes, creating almost entirely different scenes throughout the day. The early morning colours are most spectacular!
