The beautiful Weltevrede Wine Estate is situated just outside Bonnievale on the R317. Guests are welcome throughout the week to join us for free wine tastings or to relax at the Bistro. On Saturdays we have tractor rides through the vineyards and private underground tastings upon request.

A representative from the farm will take you down into the underground cellar that consists out of old cement tanks, no electricity and no cell phone signal. The biggest tank will be prepared for a special wine tasting by candle light.

Please book in advance to allow us to give the best service possible.
Groups of up to 15 people can be accommodated.

3 Self Catering Cottages are available on the farm as well with fantastic views over the vineyards and the Breede River.
