The Olive House Restaurant is situated in the second oldest house in Montagu, a National Monument.

The Restaurant offers a variety of local and international cuisine in a lovely garden setting and two indoor dining rooms both with open fire places for the cold winter nights. Full Wifi is available for Guests, outside plug points are provided in the garden. Your Hosts Kati and George are both fully Qualified German trained Executive Chefs and have over 70 years combined experience in the Hospitality Industry.

George’s motto “Keep it real” rings true, good wholesome food at realistic pricing with various Fish dishes and Hot Pot’s featuring on his daily special board and providing a Home from Home atmosphere for Guests. You can enjoy a full meal or just a Cuppa with a slice of home baked Apple Crumble or baked Cheese Cake. The Olive House lends itself as a intimate venue for small functions, 30 inside and 50 outside.

Situated at 20 Bath Street in the quiet and calm west of the town. It offers a perfect base to relax or from which to explore the area. It has an expansive open feel and offers an experience unusual to the tourism business in this region.
