This popular Restaurant and Farmstall, better known as Die Kloof Padstal is the first building on your left as you enter Montagu through Cogmanskloof.
It has been in the Zilverentant family for the past 10 years and has gradually become a favoured stopover with travellers and the local community alike, for a variety of reasons.

The restaurant is licensed and serves excellent quality and tasty food at really affordable prices, while the farmstall offers everything and anything that is made in Montagu.
The view over the Keisie River and the Bloupunt mountain top is lovely and makes the perfect setting for tired travellers to stretch their legs and recharge their batteries.

Recommended and very popular dishes on the menu include: Savoury Pancakes; Peri-Peri Chicken Livers fried in olive oil with onions, green peppers, wine & cream (best value-for-money item); Lamb curry with rice and salad; and Dutch Apple Tart (of course!). Breakfast is served all day and there are special Sunday lunches.

For the children there is not only a special kiddies menu, but a lovely playground as well so that mom and dad can relax, but still keep a protective eye over them.

For animals there are always bowls of fresh water available.
