The Montagu Garden Club is a monthly social gathering of garden lovers, friends and visitors. Contrary to common belief you do not have to be a gardening specialist or a proud owner of an immaculate garden to belong. The committee consists of a few enthusiasts who took it upon themselves to source interesting gardens and places for the club to visit every month. Each month has a different theme and guest speakers range from landscape artists, plant specialists to laymen gardening enthusiasts. Anybody is welcome to join or just attend a specific meeting. The main objective is to enjoy the day and have fun, hence each gathering is concluded with tea/coffee/snacks, hence a nominal fee is charged for each event to cover catering costs and gifts for the host and speaker.
