Nestled among the cathedral-like peaks of the Langeberg range, lies the small village of Montagu.

The beauty of Nature has always inspired people and it is no different for those of us living on the edge of the Klein Karoo. We are privileged to witness the change of the seasons, vineyards and orchards changing colours from green to burgundy, amber and ochre whilst gentle mists cover the mountaintops, like a silent onlooker.

A group of four artists got together for the first time during April 2008.
Since then we have held many successful Group Art Exhibitions.

The association is still growing with 46 members at the moment. We meet once a month for workshops and demonstrations.

Our vision is to set a platform where local artists' work can be exposed, to inspire one another and to establish Montagu as an Art destination.
