After some initial concerns that the Golf Day on the 30th October may not be the success that the club was hoping for - what with the economic climate everyone finds themselves in - The Kingsriver Estate and BRW Rotary Club's Golf Day turned out to be a great day!

Some last minute entries ensured a full field, the prizes received from the many generous sponsors were magnificent, Dale Hayes (who presented a Golf Clinic at the end of play in the afternoon) and Trevor Quirk (Auctioneer of special items donated for a Fundraiser Auction after dinner) performed their duties with aplomb.

The main sponsor of the day was Kingsriver Estate, owned by a Past President of the Breede River Winelands Rotary Club, Ruud de Clercq.
