The new Chairman of the Friends of the Hospital Trust is Dr David Hall. He takes over from Des Sterley who has served the FOH with dedication for more than 12 years.
Deputy for the coming year is Neil Fraser, Harvey Kerby continues as Treasurer and Monica Gray as Secretary.

David and his wife Susan (also a medical doctor) moved to Montagu to retire here in 2005. We all know him simply as David, but, after a full career in the UK where they hail from, he was not only professor David, but Sir David as he was knighted for 'Services and Outstanding Contribution to Medicine' in 2003

David has extensive experience in management, leading work parties, facilitating workshops, writing reports and preparing funding applications. The Breede River Winelands Rotary Club can attest to this as David was recently elected to the position of Vice President (President Elect) in the club.

David and Susan have enthusiastically thrown their full weight into community activities from the day they arrived. We are grateful and proud to have people of such calibre in our midst!
