Christmas came early for Sonneblom Gardens this year when Solinus Jolliffe, who manages the Sonneblom Food Security project, was presented with a 'snazzy' new bakkie by fellow Rotarians at the club's annual end-of-year function on the 4th December.
The previous vehicle gave up the ghost a few months ago, which seriously hampered the day to day activities of the staff at the gardens as they were unable to perform basic tasks such as deliveries, etc

Seen in the photo below, a delighted Solinus points to the novel "keyring" (a bunch of carrots) which was attached to the key presented to him when the vehicle was handed over.
