Musical treat for Valley

A feast of music awaits residents of the Breede River Valley. It is held to celebrate the tenth birthday of Eseltjiesrus Donkey Sanctuary in McGregor.
On Sunday 10 September the Cape Philharmonic Youth Orchestra will make their first visit to this region. The 60 member orchestra consists of talented musician of all cultures between the ages of 17 and 24.
They have appeared and had rave reviews across the country. Recent performances were at the Grahamstown Arts Festival, the Gariep Festival in Kimberley and the Southeaster Festival in Cape Town. Under the baton of Brandon Phillips they perform a wide selection of much-loved classic items.

To add to this already exciting musical event, iconic entertainer and Patron of the Donkey Sanctuary, David Kramer will appear as guest artist accompanied by the orchestra.

The event will take place on Sunday 10 September at 3.30pm sharp in the acoustically fine Oos-Kerk in van Zyl Street, Robertson.

The event is bound to be a full house and early purchase of tickets is recommended
To encourage music lovers to get their tickets early, there is an Early Bird Special available until Friday 25 August with adult tickets for only R45 and children R20. After that date normal prices will apply, being R60 for adults and R25 for children.
Tickets are available at the Donkey Sanctuary or at the Tourism Offices in Montagu, Robertson, Worcester and McGregor.
