 Montagu Dried Fruit Farm Stall & Wine Boutique are the most recent editions to the already impressive collection of buildings on the premises of Montagu Dried Fruit & Nuts, one of the largest exporters of dried fruit in South Africa.
The company is situated in the picturesque town of Montagu – gateway to the Little Karoo and dried fruit pantry of South Africa. The Farm Stall offers a wide variety of different products at wholesale prices, which include Montagu Dried Fruit & Nuts’ impressive product list ranging from dried mangoes and now from Tanzania Organic Mangoes. Applerings. Peaches - Peeled, Unpeeled, Elberta and Nectarine. Pears. Pittedd Prunes. Apricot and imported from Turkey the very well known Malatya Apricot, as well as the Smyrna fig. Cashew nuts in any form - Plain, Roast & Salted, Peri-Peri and Caramelised. We do our own mixes of nuts to a Hawaian Mix which is ideal for hikers, Energy mix and Unbeatable mix. Fruit rolls, Sugar Cubes and Lollies to Strawberry/ Pineapple and Papaya Diced Cubes. Almonds - Plain, Salted, Ground, Diced, Flaked, Slivered and caramelised. Peanuts, Pistachio's, Macadamia and Walnuts. Seeds we can offer you from Pumpkin, Sunflower, Linseed, Sesame Seed. There are also other locally produced products from Montagu and surrounding areas, such as homemade jams, chutney's, rusks, biltong, droëwors, olives and olive oil. We stock Hoodia Tablets / Tea and a range from Ginger, Kankerbos and Green Tea. The Wine Boutique boasts a large range of wines at cellar prices. Montagu Wine Cellar, Montagu Wine Company, and Ashton Cellar are well represented, as well as other favourites such as Van Loveren, Bon Courage, Cloverfield, Excelsior, Goedverwacht, Major's Hill, Viljoensdrift, Zandvliet, De Wets Hof, Springfield and Graham Beck to name but a few. Kango Wines offer a range from their Wine, Muscadel, Port and their famous Buchu and Honeybush Brandy. Franschoek is represented by La Providance, with a very special Cabernet Sauvvignon 2002/3. The farm stall is open from Monday to Saturday from 08:00 till 17:00 and on a Sunday from 09:00 till 13:00 and the Wine boutique is open from Monday to Saturday from 08:00 till 17:00.
