Stuart and Regula welcome you to De Bos, Montagu, Klein Karoo, Route 62, Western Cape, South Africa. De Bos Guest Farm is a 7 hectar farm on the outskirts of the small Karoo town of Montagu. De Bos is a working farm, specialising in the cultivation of Pecan nuts. Peacocks, Guinea fowl and Chickens roam the farm freely and three Ostriches, Horses, Ponies and a Donkey are kept in various fields. If you are lucky you might catch a glimpse of a Mongoose, Hare, Duiker or even a Giant Tortoise that wander through the lower end of the farm. Many different Birds can be seen along the river or at the small Biotop. Montagu is a ROCK CLIMBING PARADISE with OVER 300 BOLTED ROUTES at all grades, all within walking distance of De Bos and good climbing weather most of the year. |
